I wrote the in-house newsletter articles for Harvard Catalyst, summarizing a presentation on medical research and of a community event to improve research skills.

Research Brief

I worked with the authors to edit and create a research brief version of their larger research paper — a more compelling, shorter version for the general public audience.

Event Promotion and Recruitment

Event Text, Flier

I composed this promotional text for an event, co-sponsored by the Graduate School of Design, based on the speakers’ bios and from descriptions of their projects online.

Recruitment Text, Fellowship

I updated our annual fellowship recruitment flier to better promote this fellowship, including selecting quotes by previous fellows to highlight the benefits of this program and writing compelling summaries of the projects. I also created a tag cloud of key words as part of the design.

Program Summary, Fellowship

I summarized the Film Study Center’s programs and fellowships to design this tri-fold brochure which would be available to the public at film screenings, as well as sent to graduate recruitment events.

News and PR

Media Kit

Working with senior research staff and a PR firm, we created this media kit for a highly-cited bi-annual report on rental housing. The full release we created included a press release, key facts summary sheet, infographics for social media sharing, and an interactive map.

Book Promotion

I worked with the author to compose promotional text for his Amazon book description.

Research Announcement

I wrote this summary of a Memorandum of Agreement between a research school and a foundation with an artificial reef system, working together to restore the reef marine habitat around South Caicos Island.
